Samsung Releases Galaxy XCover 7: A Rugged Marvel Built to Brave Extreme Conditions in India
Samsung has released its durable Galaxy XCover 7 smartphone in the Indian market, boasting the robust MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset and designed to endure extreme conditions. This marks Samsung’s inaugural foray into enterprise-focused smartphones in India, globally launched last month alongside the Galaxy Tab Active 5.
Samsung Galaxy XCover 7 Price: The Galaxy XCover 7 is offered in Standard and Enterprise editions, priced at ₹27,209 and ₹27,530, respectively. Corporate and institutional customers can make purchases through Samsung.com and the online EPP portal. The Enterprise Edition includes a complimentary 12-month subscription to the Knox suite, while both editions come with a 1-year warranty for Standard and a 2-year warranty for Enterprise.
Galaxy XCover 7 Specifications: The smartphone features a 6.6-inch Full HD+ TFT LCD display with a 60Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. Running on the 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset and Mali G57 GPU, it boasts 6GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable internal storage (up to 1TB via microSD).
In terms of cameras, the Galaxy XCover 7 includes a 50MP f/1.8 lens at the rear and a 5MP selfie shooter at the front. It is powered by a removable 4,050mAh battery, supporting fast charging with a 15W pogo-pin charger (charger dock sold separately).
Running on the latest Android 14 OS with Samsung’s OneUI, the smartphone holds military-grade MIL-STD-810H certification. It is built to withstand severe weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and rain. Additionally, the Galaxy XCover 7 is IP68 rated for water and dust resistance, capable of enduring drops from heights of up to 1.5 meters.
